Increase member understanding of AA service benefits and access 2. Provide easy and convenient access to AA services 3. Educate and enable members to produce quality Australian Angus cattle and genetics 4. Develop our Angus Youth members for profitable beef industry careers 5. Facilitate livestock and genetics trading for members and their clients 6. Install a controlled cattle inventory system to ensure supply of branded product 7. Increase membership to achieve a 1:5 Full to Commercial member ratio 8. To develop the skills, knowledge and abilities of Angus Youth members
Mission: To improve the quality and efficiency of Australian Angus to world leader standards Vision: Australian Angus to become proven world leading genetics Angus Australia and its technology partners to be considered “world genetics leaders”. Goals: 1. Increase the efficiency of registration and Breedplan services 2. Increase the rate of genetic gain for $Indices 3. Identify and proof elite AA sires 4. Increase the proportion of registered calves sired by Angus Australia registered bulls 5. Invest in new technologies via partnerships and education 6. Encourage members to increase the volume of the performance data they record by 15% 7. Increase the accuracy of the pedigree and performance data recorded
Mission: To establish Australian Angus genetics as a leader in the Australian and world beef genetics industry Vision: Angus to increase dominance in temperate Australia and to become one of the preferred crosses in sub-tropical and tropical Australia. Australia to become a net exporter of Angus genetics with Australian Angus recognised internationally as “genetics of distinction” Angus Australia to be seen as Australia’s leading user of genetic analysis technology Goals: 1. Market breed genetics to gain sustainable demand in the Australian and export markets 2. Marketing people to work side-by-side with genetic development people 3. Prioritise markets by region and potential 4. Identify and clarify customer demand and preferences for AA products and services ANGUS BRANDED BEEF Mission: To establish the Australian Angus branded beef as a leader in the Australian and world quality beef industry Vision: The Australian Angus brand beef to become so widely recognised and demanded in Australia and internationally that all major Australian feedlots and export processors have to be licensed to enable adequate supply The brand to generate funds that well-satisfy stakeholders and allow re-investment in domestic and export management Goals: 1. Increase the value of Angus Branded Beef. 2. Provide demand drivers for AA membership and AA sires 3. Exceed the expectations of beef eaters 4. Widen domestic and export distribution 5. Generate funds for product development and marketing 6. Deliver a profit to stakeholders
