In 1997 the Angus Australia introduced an initiative to identify progeny test programs that comply with certain guidelines for progeny testing to enhance the data quality for Carcase Evaluation. The endorsed progeny test programs are eligible to submit data into the Angus Progeny Test or higher Register for subsequent inclusion in the Angus GROUP BREEDPLAN analysis. In addition, endorsed programs will be eligible to use the Angus Progeny Test Logo.

The following programs are currently endorsed:

• EDGE - Agri-Gene
