About Catalogue Services Angus Australia recognises the importance of the inclusion of accurate registration and performance data in members’ sale catalogues. Therefore we are pleased to offer assistance to our members in producing their catalogues through our Quality Assurance Sale Catalogue Services program. It provides the latest registration and performance data downloaded directly from our databases. Cattle details from any of Angus Australia's registers, including the Herd Book Register, Red Angus Register, Angus Performance Register, Angus Commercial Register and Multi-Breed Register can be supplied for the production of sale catalogues, along with an animals’ associated Angus GROUP BREEDPLAN performance data. The options that are available to members of Angus Australia include:
Members also have the opportunity to have a free Angus Australia home page advertisement for a week if you run a full page advertisement promoting Angus Plus in your sale catalogue. Click here to find out more. Additional services are also available, including the addition of animal photographs to the on-line catalogues, or customised layouts being prepared for paper based catalogues and reports. A full list of the charges for these services is available on the Quality Assurance Sale Catalogue Services Application, which must first be completed by the member in order for Angus Australia to supply any of these services. Please click here to download the QA Application Form and forward this to Angus Australia, along with the details of the sale and the animals for which the data extract is required. Angus Australia can also supply members with registration
and performance data to be used in catalogues outside of the Quality Assurance
program. For more information contact registrations on 02 6772 3011. Click

Members should indicate clearly on the Application Form the services they require, the format in which the data is to be supplied (i.e. electronic data file, formatted lot details on paper or as an electronic file for a printer), and the destination for the resulting data, be it the member, or the printer of your choice. To supply the lot details to Angus Australia in the preferred format, please CLICK HERE to access our pre-formatted Microsoft Excel worksheet. All you will need to do is open this file, enter the required details into the correct column, then save the completed file to your computer before emailing it to regos@angusaustralia.com.au One thing you will also need to consider in the preparation of your Quality Assured Sale Catalogue, is the need to allow sufficient time for Angus Australia to be able extract and process your request. It is therefore important to place your order for these services as early as possible to avoid any delays. Should you find that time is running short it is often a good idea to contact Angus Australia well beforehand and “book” your job in with us for a particular date, as this will enable us to give priority to your request if we know in advance when it will be submitted and when it needs to be completed. Should you have any queries regarding the services available, please do not hesitate to contact registrations on 02 6772 3011. Standard templates for formatted

† Please note: In receiving animal data in an electronic format, it is the printer’s responsibility to be able to maintain the integrity of the data by being capable of reading the file, extracting each record and applying the data to the individual fields in their catalogue layout format, in a mail merge process. Due to the wide variety of different computer systems used, Angus Australia cannot always provide assistance in this mail merge process, however should you or your printer have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact Angus Australia. |
