Advertising in the Angus Australian Journal

The next available Angus Australian Journal will be the 2008 edition mailed to all Angus Australia members at the end of 2007.

The Angus Australian Journal is the society’s ‘flag-ship’ annual mailed to members of all categories.

Over recent years it has become a 116 page glossy full colour A4 publication comprising advertising and editorial.

The editorial reviews the year’s events, explains some of Angus Australia's programs, provides testimonials from users of Angus genetics and previews some of the significant programs Angus Australia is planning for the following year.

The Angus Australian Journal serves a wide range of communication requirements. It aims to be both a promotional and an informative publication.

In 2006, in a move designed to improve production efficiency of the Angus Australian Journal, Angus Australia’s board approved an arrangement for Rural Press Limited to produce the journal, including handling advertising sales and the generation of some editorial.

Much of the editorial will still be produced by Angus Australia and Angus Australia will remain in control of the overall contents.

The journal continues to be a significant part of Angus Australia’s communication strategy. This alliance with Rural Press will ensure it retains and even increases its importance.
