If you have some lines of Angus females and steers the March 5 online AngusPlus sale is ideally suited. Close to 300 head already entered including 200 HBR and APR females from Arthur Webb of Murraguldrie Station in the Riverina. These are registered females but will be sold as commercials. The 25th young person to take up the Semex Genetics Michigan State University Scholarship will be named in April. CONFERENCE UPDATE
An exciting program is being developed for Angus Australia’s 2010 National Conference at Albury, NSW, on Tuesday April 27. The range of speakers will cover topics ranging from the latest genomic enhanced performance figures and climate change to burgers and prime cuts for the domestic and export markets. The final program will be available mid-February. One locked in speaker has been cited by the UN Food and Agricultural Association. More….
