The main benefits in members being able to submit their registrations in an electronic format include improved efficiency in the processing time for registrations, there being less likelihood of errors being made, as opposed to when data is being manually entered, and Angus Australia providing members with a rebate (based on the age of the calf at the time of processing) for each calf that is successfully processed electronically, without the need for any corrections being made to the data supplied or any manual data entry being required.

The most popular way in which your registrations can be submitted electronically is by using one of the following Herd Management Programs which are compatible with Angus Australia's registration system, being:

Alternatively, Angus Australia has also developed a system by which members may submit their calf registrations via a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet, which is also acceptable provided the details are supplied in the correct format, as specified by Angus Australia.

This Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet is now available to all members and may be downloaded from this website, however please note that it is necessary for you to have the Microsoft Excel program on your computer in order for you to be able to use this means of recording your calves. Please ensure that you read the instructions carefully before entering the details of your calves onto the Excel Spreadsheet. Any registrations which are submitted in an incorrect format shall be returned to the member for correction prior to the registrations being processed.
