PROGENY TEST REGISTER (PTR)

The Angus Progeny Test Register (PTR) is provided for the recording of steer and heifer data from structured progeny test programs endorsed by Angus Australia.

Straightbred Angus and Angus influenced heifers and steers may be recorded in the PTR.

All non-straightbred animals in the PTR must have a standard eight digit breed code recorded.

No individual Estimated Breeding Values or Pedigree-Performance Certificates will be provided for animals recorded in the PTR.

Eligible females recorded in the PTR may be upgraded to the ACR, APR or MBR on payment of prescribed fees.
