SPLIT INVENTORY SYSTEM UPDATE

We understand that the move to the Split Inventory has been difficult for some of our members, causing a degree of frustration. Although we have tried on a number of occasions to brief members about the changes, inevitably some will not have received that information.

Stage One - Completed

All members were sent a Female Inventory List in December 2002 for Autumn and Spring calving females.

• Members completed fates and season changes for Autumn calving females only and returned these changes to Angus Australia Office by 31st January 2003.

• Females advised by members as being active for 2003 and to calve in Autumn 2003 have been invoiced on the February Statement and calf record forms have been sent.

• Please note that members flagged as electronic users do not receive printed calf record forms. If you are a member that would still like your printed forms please contact Angus Australia Office.

Stage Two – Completed

Members received statement for all active 2003 Autumn calving females.

• 2003 Autumn female inventory fees are due 30th April 2003.

• Late inventory Fees will be charged 30th May 2003 for breeders who have not paid for Autumn calving females.

• No ‘Y’ calves (calves born Autumn 2003) will be recorded until inventory fees are paid.

Stage Three

Inventory List will be sent to breeders for all females flagged as Spring calvers on 1st May 2003.

• Female Inventory List for Spring calvers must be returned to Angus Australia office by 30th June 2003.

• Members will be invoiced for all active Spring calving females on 1st August 2003 and calf record forms will be sent to those herds.

Stage Four

2003 Spring female inventory fees are due 30th September 2003.

• Late inventory Fees will be charged 31st October 2003 for breeders who have not paid for Spring calving females.

• No ‘Y’ calves (calves born Spring 2003) will be recorded until inventory fees are paid.
