Important DNA collection information

Angus Australia would like to remind all members that when collecting a DNA sample from an animal for testing, the following steps are necessary as they allow the entire process to be both more efficient and timely:

•  - if the sample is wet when it is collected, it must be dried before it is placed in the collection kit

•  - if mulitple test are required, it is essential to send more than one hair sample.

•  - all hair samples must be sent in the correct collection kits. For instance if testing at UQ or Pfizer please use the collection kits provided.
