The Trans-Tasman Angus Cattle Evaluation (TACE) EBVs and progeny averages listed in the Angus Sire Benchmarking Project (ASBP) Progeny Performance Reports, and online via angus.tech, have recently been updated to include the following new progeny data:

  • Cohort 9 – Days to calving data based on yearling joining (natural) and calving at 2 years of age.
  • Cohort 10 – Some yearling weights and ultrasound scans for EMA, rib fat, rump fat and IMF. Note the associated values may change as more data is analysed.
  • Cohort 11 – Birth weight, gestation length and calving difficulty score data.

There is a separate report for each Cohort that can be accessed under the Sire Benchmarking menu item on the Angus Australia website (www.angusaustralia.com.au) or by clicking on the link below:

Alternatively you are also able to access, search and sort through the data on the ASBP sires via the angus.tech ASBP online catalogue. Click here or the image below to access this facility.
