Angus Australia Directors and staff were saddened to hear of the recent passing of Mr Dennis Ginn from Yancowinna Angus, Cape Patterson Vic.    Dennis was a member of Angus Australia for over 30 years, during which time he contributed significantly to the development and marketing of the Angus breed and to the governance of the Society.   He was an active member of the Victorian State Committee for many years, and served as a Director on the Angus Australia Board from 2000 to 2007, including the role of President from 2004 to 2006.  Dennis was an enthusiastic supporter and key contributor to the commencement of the Certified Australian Angus Beef (CAAB) brand, which was the forerunner to the development and success of the numerous Angus brands currently in the Australian beef market.  Dennis was also a strong advocate for breed development initiatives conducted by the Society and chaired the Angus Sire Benchmarking Program (ASBP) Consultative Ccommittee from 2009 to 2016.  The Board and staff of Angus Australia extend their sincere condolences to the Ginn family.
