Verified Black Angus Beef held strong against the best beef brands in the world at the recent 2019 World Steak Challenge, with Rangers Valley Black Onyx and Jacks Creek Black Angus both bringing home medal placings from the competition, held in Dublin, Ireland.
The World Steak Challenge allows for steak producers and suppliers to test the quality of their meat against a vast number of international competitors.
41 expert and 14 consumer judges came together to blind test and taste more than 300 Sirloin, Fillet and Rib Eye steaks from 25 different countries. Each entry was judged raw for its visual appeal then cooked for a rating of its aroma, colour, flavour and marbling.
