With a week that saw continuing dry conditions in the south, it was a tougher day in Friday’s AuctionPlus Eastern States sale 15 April with clearance rates declining significantly. Angus cattle still maintained a successful week, topping over 90% of the categories they were represented in, driving that continual strong demand for Angus and Angus cross cattle over all other breeds and crosses.
Breeders found it tough going today, though some price expectations remain a couple of weeks behind market indicators.
