March 3, 2016 9:18 am

Cattle numbers dipped slightly this week in Friday’s AuctionsPlus Eastern States sale 26 Feb by just under 1500 head. However, the total was still a massive 12,131 head for the week, which rounds the month of February to 41,200 head offered. Across the four Eastern States sales today, 464 bidders logged on.

Angus cattle have rounded out their competition, securing to top gong for 5 of the 8 steer and heifer categories and 5 of the 7 PTIC female and cow and calf categories, once again proving their dominance as market leaders in what is seen to be the strongest cattle market most can remember.
