A yarding 30 per cent bigger than expected and tightening seasonal conditions took little off prices at the Wodonga store market Friday 15 Apr. The sale’s top price of $2200 was paid for a pen of 18 Angus cows, two years, with calves four to five months at foot. READ MORE

A total of 606 head came together for the weekly Hayes & Co Silverdale live weight cattle sale 13 Apr. It was a mixed quality yarding with all types slightly easier on last week’s rates. In the steer section, Angus cross pasture fed steers sold for $1247 (292.2c/kg)  READ MORE
