The New South Wales State Committee of Angus Australia, is excited to announce the winners of the 2017 Norman Lethbridge Award.
Named in honour of the New South Wales State Committee’s secretary, Mr Norman Lethbridge, the Award began in 2002 and has been running continuously ever since. The award is open to students and cadets over 16 years and under 25 years of age, studying agriculture, livestock auctioneering or stock and station agency, whom reside in Sydney or within 200 kilometres of Sydney.

For the third time in the awards history, a special Encouragement Award has been donated and will be presented by Mr Gary Roberts, Potts Point.
Encouragement Award: Claudia Humphries, Oberon nominated by The Scots School, Bathurst.
A presentation of these awards will be made during the Angus Judging at the Royal Easter Show on Sunday 25th March 2018
Since its inception, the Norman Lethbridge Award has been sponsored by the Munro family, Booroomooka Angus Stud, Bingara and for the 2017 award the New South Wales State Committee is pleased to also have Christine and Jon Erby’s Forres Angus Stud, Dungog on board as sponsors to bring the total prize money available to $4,500.
It is unique that the same subcommittee formed at the inception of the award comprising Mrs Christine Erby, Mr Mark Lucas, Mr Simon Hennings and Mr Richard Buck have interviewed applicants and adjudicated all these years.
