Once again the premium for Angus and Angus cross cattle has reigned supreme with Angus and Angus cross cattle bringing on average $62.20/head over and above the sale average in Friday’s AuctionsPlus sale 21 Oct.
Premiums for Angus and Angus cross cattle above the sale averages (including Angus):
- Steers 13c/kg
- Heifers 13c/kg
- Cows & Calves $120/hd
Cattle numbers remained steady this week with a total consignment of 12,420 head.
Strong demand was observed for cows with calves at foot with significant price rises in the market.
