Commercial Angus AuctionsPlus Report 23 Sept

September 28, 2016 10:48 am

Extremely wet conditions across the eastern states has heightened producers challenges in getting cattle assessed for the box as well as getting them delivered. This challenge was evident in Friday’s AuctionsPlus sale 23 Sept, with a reduction of over 4500 head on the previous week’s sale.

PTIC females and cow and calf units made up the majority of numbers in this sale with punters paying a premium of $181/hd and $16/hd respectively to secure premium Angus genetics over other breeds.
