Thank you for your registration to attend the #GrowAngus National Conference in Ballarat, please see below information to help you prepare for your trip and the events you may have chosen to attend.


PROGRAM

PRE CONFERENCE TOUR

The tour will be leaving at 8am Wednesday the 17th of May from the Mercure Ballarat (613 Main Road Ballarat). Those going on the tour should be ready to board the bus by 7.50am. The tour will arrive at Murdeduke Agriculture, 730 Cressy Road, Winchelsea at approximately 9.30am.  The tour will leave at 12pm to arrive at Genetics Australia, 144 Woolpack Road at Bacchus Marsh at 1pm for lunch followed by a tour of the facilities.  The tour will  leave at 5pm, returning to Ballarat by 6pm.  For more information CLICK HERE


WELCOME COCKTAIL PARTY

Sponsored by Austrex, the Welcome Cocktail Party kicks off at the Mercure Hotel Victoria room at 7pm on Wednesday May 17th. Dress for the Welcome Function is cocktail.


REGISTRATIONS
Registrations for the #GrowAngus National Conference are from 9-10.15am on Thursday May 18th in the  Mercure Hotel Convention Centre Foyer.

TRADE SHOW

A comprehensive trade show will run in conjunction with the Angus National Conference in the Mercure convention centre foyer on May 18th & 19th, with sponsors and exhibitors displaying the latest technologies and products in animal health, software, genetics, export and farm supplies.  To see who will be in attendance CLICK HERE


GALA DINNER
Pre dinner drinks, sponsored by Zoetis, kick off in the Mercure Convention Centre foyer at 6.30pm on Thursday May 18th. The Gala Dinner will follow at 7.30pm in the Convention Centre with entertainment by Richard Vegas and an Angus Foundation Auction, supported by AuctionsPlus. Dress for the gala dinner is semi formal.

FOUNDATION AUCTION
The 2017 #GrowAngus Foundation Auction will this year be interfaced by AuctionsPlus, allowing ANYONE to bid on the wonderful items we have on offer. We are very grateful to all those who have donated to the auction, without this generous support the Angus Foundation would not have the ability to fund the wonderful Scholarship, Awards and Bursaries scheme we have on offer.
