Angus Australia, in conjunction with the Angus Australia Foundation, is excited to give members the opportunity to participate in the exciting and innovative #GrowAngus National Conference.
On offer, are two scholarships to Angus Australia Members aged between 18 and 30 to participate in the #GrowAngus National Conference in Ballarat on the 18th and 19th of May, with a Pre-Conference Tour being held on the 17th.
Open to all, the Angus National Conference provides attendees with the opportunity to network with industry professionals and touch base with other cattle producers.
Given the record breaking year Angus Australia has seen for Angus breeders, with record prices reached in both the commercial and seedstock sectors, the eclipsing of all past records of calves registered, performance records submitted and genetic trends achieved in EBVs and Indexes and the expansion of Angus branded products on the export, food service and retail markets, the opportunities available to producers in all sectors of the Angus supply chain are certainly vast.
The program boasts an impressive line-up of high-level speakers from a diverse range of backgrounds. Sessions will cover topics in the areas of communication across the beef supply chain, genetic technologies, commercial supply chain, market technologies, technology in agriculture.
The scholarships are open to Angus Australia members aged between 18 and 30 with a commitment to the Australia Beef Industry and the Angus breed are encouraged to apply.
Each scholarship recipient will be provided with $1500 to help cover the costs associated with attending the pre-conference tour and the conference, (for example; flights, accommodation and the conference registration fee).
Applications close on Friday the 31st of March.
