Members are advised that the Angus Australia app will not operate on iOS devices (e.g. iPads, iPhones) once the latest iOS software is installed on the device (version 11.1).
Despite foreshadowing this issue in June, Angus Australia has recently been informed by our third party software provider that considerable development is required to make the app compliant with the new iOS software, and this work will be difficult to schedule in the short term. Rather than pursue this course of action, Angus Australia’s in-house software development team has commenced work as a high priority on re-developing the app to make it compatible with the new Angus Database Search facility. It is aimed to have this completed during the next few weeks.
Angus Australia wishes to apologise for the inconvenience that the unavailability of the app is causing. In the short term, Angus Australia would advise affected iOS users to utilise the Angus Database Search facility within the web browser on their device.
The Angus Australia app remains unaffected for android device users, or iOS users who haven’t installed the latest iOS software.
