With the Angus Youth Roundup nearing closer, we have put together everything you need to know for Roundup, so that you are prepared for 2020!
The Toowoomba Showgrounds are located on Frank Thomas Ave, Glenvale, QLD. There will be signage displayed to inform participants where to park and where camping is allowed when arriving at the showgrounds.
As opposed to previous years, please note there will be no dorm style accommodation available at the Angus Youth National Roundup, all participants and their parent or guardians will be responsible for organising their own accommodation. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent guardian over the age of 18 years if camping.

For competitors Roundup will begin at 9am on Thursday the 16th of January when registrations open and conclude at approximately noon on Sunday the 19th of January. For further information regarding the event schedule see the Roundup program HERE.
For those who are donating or bringing ballot cattle for the event, the arrival time is the morning of Thursday 16th January, however if you are traveling long distances and need to arrive earlier please contact Ben Emery for alternate options (please note if you are arriving on Wednesday that cattle will not be allowed into stalls until 1pm). At the conclusion of the event cattle can leave the showground after 3.30pm on Sunday 19th January. Alternatively, it is also possible to stay Sunday night and head off Monday morning, please contact Ben Emery.

The Special Dinner Dance is back for the Thomas Foods International Angus Youth Roundup 2019. The dinner will consist of a two course sit down meal, live and silent auction to raise funds for Angus Youth followed by entertainment late into the night. The Special Dinner Dance will be held at the Toowoomba Golf Club from 6.30pm for a 7pm start running until late on Saturday 18th January. The dress code for the night is smart casual.
The price of the dinner is $25 per child and $50 per adult (Special Dinner Dance ticket included in registered participants entry fee). There are LIMITED tickets still available for the Special Dinner Dance, which must be purchased at the event.
As at every Roundup, there are a number of awards and scholarships that will be awarded at the 2020 Roundup.
