Vale – Mr Alec Peden
Angus Australia extends its condolences to Mrs Mary Peden and the family of Alec Peden, who has sadly passed away.
Mr Peden was a formidable figure in the Angus breed, particularly in Queensland, where he was the principal of Burenda Angus until its dispersal in 2021.
Prior to this, Burenda Angus was the largest single-owner stud in Queensland and achieved record results for state bull sale averages.
The Burenda legacy continues, with many seedstock operations still featuring Burenda bloodlines today.
A private funeral was held on Monday, 4th August.
