Angus Australia announces the launch its new podcast series, The Angus Table. The weekly series is designed to offer meaningful conversations that speak directly to Angus seedstock and commercial cattle producers.

Hosted by Angus Australia CEO Scott Wright, the podcast will feature a diverse lineup of guests whose work intersects with the beef industry in practical and influential ways. From producers and processors to innovators and professionals in adjacent sectors, each episode will explore ideas and experiences that matter to those working with Angus cattle. “We’re bringing together voices that offer practical insight and fresh thinking,” Scott said. “It’s about sharing ideas that can add value to our members and to the wider beef community.”

The first episode features Jon Condon, founder and editor of Beef Central, Australia’s leading independent source of beef industry news and market intelligence. With more than 30 years of agricultural journalism experience, Jon shares his journey from rural reporter to trusted industry voice. His conversation with Scott explores the evolution of beef media, the cycles of market change, and the challenges and opportunities facing Australian cattle producers today.

Throughout the series, listeners will also hear from Angus Australia staff, who will share information about their work and the initiatives they are delivering for members. These episodes will provide insight into how Angus Australia’s programs and services are helping to support the breed and drive value for producers.

“This podcast is a reflection of our commitment to An Angus for Every System,” Scott said. “Through these conversations, we’re bringing to life Every System, Every Story, sharing practical insights and real experiences from people working across the many areas where Angus cattle are embedded in Australian agriculture. Whether it’s breeding, grazing, supply chains, retail or research, the Angus breed plays a central role in a wide network of industries that shape how food is produced, marketed and consumed.”

Future guests include Brad Hine (Angus Australia), Lucy Morrissey (Morrissey & Friends), Emily Pullen (Jim’s Jerky), and Tim Ford (Feed Central), covering topics such as cattle handling, coaching teams, value-adding, and feed supply.

Scott believes the podcast format offers a unique opportunity to connect with members in a way that fits naturally into their day. “Podcasts give people the freedom to listen wherever they are, whether they’re in the paddock, behind the wheel, or taking a break. It’s about making space for conversations that connect, inform and inspire, wherever our members are ready to listen, so just pull up a chair and join the conversation around The Angus Table.”
