Angus Australia will host an Angus Masterclass in Western Australia on Tuesday, 21 January, at the Claremont Showgrounds after the WA Angus Affiliated Group AGM. Members are invited to attend this interactive workshop designed to provide practical insights and strategies to improve breeding and business decisions.

Building on the success of the pilot workshop held in Toowoomba earlier this year, the WA event will feature presentations and open discussions on topics such as genetic selection, performance recording, and tools to enhance herd improvement. The program is designed to translate data and research into actionable outcomes, supporting productivity and profitability across Angus operations.

Reflecting on the pilot workshop, Nancy Cranshaw Angus Australia Extension Manager said she was “enthused by how well attendees engaged with the content being presented. The level of interaction and discussion highlighted the value of bringing producers together to explore practical solutions for their operations, and I’m anticipating similar engagement with West Australian members at the workshop.”

Angus Australia CEO Scott Wright added, “I was really pleased for the opportunity to have open group discussions with members during the pilot workshop, and I look forward to comparable discussions at the Claremont event.”

The Masterclass will run from 2:00pm to 5:30pm.

Following the workshop, participants are invited to an informal dinner (location to be confirmed), providing a relaxed setting for networking and continuing conversations.
