Angus Australia will host an Angus Masterclass in Goulburn NSW on Friday 17 April, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, at Goulburn Workers – McKell Place, Goulburn NSW 2580.

Members and their clients are invited to attend this practical, hands on workshop designed to provide actionable insights to support stronger breeding and business decisions.

This interactive session will focus on translating genetic data, reporting tools and recording processes into clear outcomes for commercial and seedstock operations alike. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptop or device to set up saved searches and default layouts in angus.tech during the workshop.

What’s Covered

  • Benchmarking your own or your clients breeding program to create a clear breeding objective
  • Unlocking angus.tech report functions and improving data use
  • Solving common recording challenges
  • Insights into Angus GenetiQ

Why Attend

  • Gain practical tools to refine your breeding program
  • Share feedback to help shape future workshops across Regional Australia
  • Connect directly with Angus Australia leadership and fellow producers

Angus Australia Extension Manager Nancy Cranshaw said the Masterclass series continues to build momentum following earlier workshops.

“The strength of these workshops is in their practicality,” Ms Cranshaw said. “Members value the opportunity to sit down together, work through real examples, and leave with tools they can immediately apply to their own breeding programs. We’re looking forward to strong engagement from our New South Wales members in Goulburn and surrounding areas.”

Scott Wright added that the Masterclass format allows for open discussion and direct engagement with members.

“These sessions give us the opportunity to listen as much as we present,” Mr Wright said. “The feedback from producers plays an important role in guiding how we continue to deliver tools, technology and services that meet the needs of commercial and seedstock operations.”
