Bulls & Better Beef Comes to Roma
Join Angus Australia and TopX Roma for a practical evening focused on buying better bulls and building better herds.
Angus Australia, in partnership with TopX Roma, will host an educational producer workshop in Roma on Friday 17 July, bringing together industry expertise, practical insights and commercial perspectives for northern beef producers.
The workshop, themed “Bulls & Better Beef”, will be held at Explorers Inn, Roma, from 4:00pm to 6:30pm, followed by dinner and drinks.
Focused on buying better bulls and building better herds, the evening will provide producers with practical information to support bull selection, genetic improvement and long-term herd performance in northern production systems.
The program will include presentations from Angus Australia, TopX Roma, Zoetis, Alliance Beef and commercial producer speakers, with Queensland Angus also involved in the evening.
Angus Australia CEO, Scott Wright, will open the workshop, with Angus Australia Extension Officer, Dr Brad Hine to present on genetics, bull buying and how producers can use selection tools to make more informed decisions when investing in Angus bulls.
Zoetis will also provide insight into bringing bulls into northern systems, while TopX Roma and other industry representatives will share market and commercial perspectives relevant to producers across the region.
The event is designed to be practical, producer-focused and social, giving attendees the opportunity to hear from industry experts, ask questions and connect with other beef producers and service providers.
