Angus action from Canberra Royal
An Angus cow and calf, exhibited by JTR Cattle Company and Ross Robertson, Roslyn, NSW took out the penultimate Angus prize at the Royal Canberra Show, to be crowned the Supreme Angus exhibit.
The three-year-old cow, Yallambee Beatrix S125, with bull calf at foot had earlier taken out the ribbons for Senior Champion and Grand Champion female, before coming up against Senior and Grand Champion Bull, Hollywood Top O’ The Morning T12, exhibited by IC and LE Frecklington, Peak Hill, NSW.
The junior champion female was awarded to Myers Lady Louise, exhibited by Myers Angus, The Rock, NSW, while Junior champion bull was Hollywood Vaya Con Dios, exhibited by IC and LE Frecklington, Peak Hill NSW.
Angus judging was conducted by Peter Collins from Merridale Angus.
