Celebrating excellence at the 2026 Angus Youth Roundup proudly supported by Prestige Partner NH Foods
Angus Australia is proud to congratulate all award winners and participants following another outstanding Angus Youth Roundup, held from 7–11 January 2026 at the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre in Tamworth, NSW.
The 2026 Roundup once again showcased the depth of talent, passion and commitment of young people from across Australia, bringing together competitors aged 8–25 for an immersive program of hands-on education, competition and industry engagement spanning the full beef production chain, from breeding and animal handling through to processing, product quality and understanding global consumer expectations.
The event was proudly supported by Prestige Partner NH Foods, marking the fourth consecutive year of this valued collaboration.
Angus Australia CEO Scott Wright said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to developing the next generation of industry leaders.
“The Angus Youth Roundup showcases every aspect of our industry, from breeding and animal handling through to understanding processing, product quality and customer expectations. NH Foods’ ongoing support helps us develop capable, informed and passionate young people who will lead the beef industry into the future.”
NH Foods Director Andrew McDonald echoed this sentiment, highlighting the importance of the Roundup experience.
“The Angus Youth Roundup gives participants the chance to learn, grow and gain a real understanding of how our industry works. It’s a great initiative that brings young people together and helps set them up for a successful future in the beef industry.”
Together, Angus Australia and NH Foods continue to invest in the sustainability, innovation, and long-term success of the Australian beef industry.
