Heifer raffle rounds up support for Angus youth
The countdown to the 2026 Angus Youth Roundup is on — and supporters now have the chance to win a top-class Angus heifer while backing the future of Australia’s beef industry.
In a unique ‘Pick of the Pair’ raffle, Justin and Jocey Richards of Pentire Angus are giving one lucky winner the ultimate prize — the choice of two elite Angus females from their renowned breeding program.
It’s a rare opportunity to secure exceptional genetics, and directly support the Angus Youth Program — an initiative dedicated to developing and nurturing the next generation of beef industry leaders.
“For us, it is a privilege to be involved,” said Justin.
“The Angus Youth family has given us so many opportunities over the years. This is our way of giving back and helping shape the future of the breed we love.”
Both heifers embody Pentire’s hallmark traits — maternal strength, structural soundness, calm temperament, udder quality, feed efficiency and longevity.

entire Bara V39 (NQD24V39)
Sired by the renowned YoungDale Believe 46B and out of Pentire Bara N18 — daughter of the legendary HF EL Tigre 43U — Bara V39 combines unmatched pedigree and performance.
“With her structural integrity, length and thickness, combined with her middle of the road maturity pattern, Bara V39 will be a great asset to any herd,” Justin said.
Pentire Bara V40 (NQD24V40)
Also sired by YoungDale Believe 46B and out of Pentire Bara N18 — a HF EL Tigre 43U daughter, with so much power and body mass and a great production record in the Pentire herd.
“Bara V40 is an almost identical replica of Bara N18, with her extra frame, body mass and length, thickness and structural integrity,” Justin added. “We can’t wait to see these traits and our genetics make a difference and take forward the winning ticketholders herd.”
Angus Australia CEO Scott Wright stressed this is more than just a raffle.
“It’s an investment in the future of our industry and a chance to take home an outstanding Angus female,” he said.
