On Wednesday, August 13th, the Scone High Cattle team were proud to welcome Matthew Macri, Angus NSW Chairman, to the school to present the Noel Williams Perpetual Trophy.

The Noel Williams Perpetual Trophy and prizemoney is awarded each year to the school with the highest scoring Angus steer in the Sydney Royal Easter Show school steer competition. The award is generously sponsored by Reiland Angus.

The winning steer, “Arlo” was bred by the Brooker Family at Main Camp and then prepared by the show team over a period of 4 months.

This is the second year in a row that Scone High School and the Brooker family have been awarded the Noel Williams Shield. This takes the total number of times that the High school has won the shield to 10 since its introduction in 1994.
