The Zoetis AngusEXPO in Tamworth showcased the pinnacle of Angus breeding, with standout performances in the prestigious Pen of Three competitions. 

Summit Livestock Partnership Triumphs in Heifer Category 

Hayden and Jasmine Green of Summit Livestock Partnership, Roslyn, NSW, achieved a significant victory by securing the Champion Pen of Three Heifers. Their heifers impressed judges PJ Budler (USA), Roger Evans (Australia), and Dr. Dan Shike (USA) with their uniformity, structural soundness, and breeding potential.  

Reserve champion of the heifer competition went to KO Angus, Kangaloon, NSW. 

NSW Stud Claims Bull Category Honors 

In the Pen of Three Bulls competition, the Halliday Family of Ben Nevis Angus, Walcha, NSW emerged victorious, earning accolades from the judges for the quality and genetic potential of their bulls. The judges highlighted the bulls’ structural integrity and suitability for diverse breeding programs.  

Reserve Champion Pen for the bull competition was Summit Livestock. 

The crowd was also part of the action, with a people’s choice pen of three competition run during the event.  The winner announced at the end of the AngusEXPO was Tattykeel Angus, Oberon, NSW.
