Reminder: Spring Inventory Fates Due 13 July 2026 and Important Changes to Inventory Credits

Dear members,

Angus Australia members are reminded that Spring Inventory fates are due by Monday, 13 July 2026.

Members are encouraged to submit all female disposals, or fates, by the due date to ensure inventory records are accurate ahead of billing.

The Spring and Autumn Inventory process is an important part of maintaining accurate female inventory records, which in turn supports the delivery of registration, performance recording and member services.

There has been an important change to the application of credits received after the inventory date. Following recent consideration by the Angus Australia Board, a Board Policy has been adopted to provide a clear and consistent approach to late inventory returns. Under this policy, where female disposals are submitted after the billing date, members may only be eligible to receive a credit of 50% of the billed amount.

This policy has been introduced to provide greater clarity for members and staff, while encouraging inventory returns to be completed on time. It also ensures credits are applied consistently and fairly across the membership.

Angus Australia recognises that exceptional circumstances can occur, including significant weather-related events or personal circumstances. In these instances, members are encouraged to contact the Angus Australia team so their individual situation can be considered.

I would also like to mention very clearly that we certainly can grant an extension for Inventory submissions. If you cannot provide by the 13th July, please write to me personally and ask for an exemption stating the reasons. With a request in writing ahead of the date, Angus Australia will always honour a full credit.

Please review Spring Inventory and submit any fates by Monday, 13 July 2026 to avoid unnecessary charges.

For assistance with completing your inventory return, please contact the Angus Australia office.

Yours sincerely,

Scott Wright
