Vale Barry McFarlane – Honorary Life Member – Bronmar Angus
Angus Australia wishes to express its sympathy to the family of Barry McFarlane who passed away on April 30th 2025, age 98.
Mr McFarlane was an Angus Australia Honorary Life Member, owner of the Bronmar Angus Stud at Quirindi.
The Bronmar Angus Stud was established in 1964, for their daughters Bronwyn Colless (nee McFarlane) and Marg McLeish (nee McFarlane), with Mr and Mrs McFarlane taking over ownership in 1984 following the marriages of both their daughters.
Mr McFarlane spent a great many years of his life as an avid supporter of the Angus industry and was quite often seen on the sidelines of many a Royal Show or sale ring.
