World Angus Secretariat Meeting
Ahead of the main forum, the World Angus Secretariat convened to discuss strategic initiatives and collaborative efforts among member countries. Representatives from 26 nations gathered to share insights on genetic advancements, sustainability practices, and the future direction of the Angus breed globally.
This meeting underscored the importance of international cooperation in promoting and enhancing Angus genetics worldwide. It was also determined that William McLaren, Scotland, would take the reins as the Secretary of the World Angus Secretariat, following the retirement of Tim Brittain, New Zealand, from the post.
