Your 2026 Angus Australia Board – Election Results

Angus Australia is pleased to announce the results of the 2026 Board Director elections, with strong member participation once again playing an important role in shaping the leadership and future direction of the organisation.

Following the close of nominations, a ballot of Full and Honorary Life Members was conducted to determine the successful candidates for the vacant National and State Director positions. Voting was conducted electronically and closed at 5.00pm on Friday 1 May 2026, with the  results independently scrutinised and validated by the Company’s auditors.

As only one nomination was received for each of the State Elected Director positions in Tasmania and New South Wales, Ed Archer (Tasmania) and Stuart Halliday (New South Wales) were elected unopposed.

Ballots were conducted for the remaining positions, with members voting to elect two Nationally Elected Directors and one Western Australian State Elected Director.

The following Directors will commence their two-year term at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 26 May 2026:

Nationally Elected Directors: Simon Falkiner, Sinclair Munro

Tasmanian Director: Ed Archer

Western Australian Director: Mark Muir

New South Wales Director: Stuart Halliday

Angus Australia congratulates all successful candidates and thanks all nominees for their commitment to supporting the governance and direction of the organisation. The willingness of members to step forward is vital in ensuring a strong and representative Board.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Erica Halliday and Andrew Kuss, who retire after eight years of dedicated service.

Both have made significant contributions through their leadership, committee involvement and support of management. Their commitment and genuine care for staff has been greatly valued and has contributed positively to the culture of the organisation.

Thank you to all members who participated in the voting process. Your engagement helps guide the future direction of Angus Australia.
