Angus Sire Benchmarking Program (ASBP) Consultative Committee
Providing strategic guidance and industry expertise to support the ongoing success of the Angus Sire Benchmarking Program.
The Angus Sire Benchmarking Program (ASBP) Consultative Committee brings together representatives from bull owner groups, co-operating cow herds, Rangers Valley Feedlot, Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) and Angus Australia. The committee meets several times each year to consider bull nominations and provide strategic guidance on the operation and future direction of the program.
The consultative committees provide an important mechanism for Angus Australia members to contribute structured feedback, ideas and recommendations to the Angus Australia Board of Directors and management team.
The ASBP Consultative Committee provides advice on policies, strategies and operational planning relating to the Angus Sire Benchmarking Program. The committee reviews the overall progress of the program, provides recommendations where required, and considers proposals before they are presented to the Board.
