GenAngus Future Leaders Program is back in 2026
Presented by the Angus Australia Foundation with support from Achmea Australia, GenAngus is the flagship leadership experience for young beef professionals, and it’s more than just a workshop.
It’s a launchpad.
Since its inception in 2019, GenAngus has become the pinacle of youth development at Angus Australia. Now entering its 8th cohort, the program has supported over 80 alumni, many of whom have gone on to purchase land, acquire businesses, and build their own enterprises from the ground up. Whether you’re starting your own beef business or scaling up an existing one, GenAngus gives you the tools, confidence, and community to succeed.
Who can apply?
You must be either a member of Angus Australia or working on a member’s enterprise; including stock managers, farm managers, and emerging leaders ready to take the next step. If you are not a member, and would like to apply, you can sign up to be an Angus Australia member by completing and submitting a membership form at the time of application to ensure you are eligible for the program.
What you’ll gain:
The experience kicks off with a four-day intensive workshop, followed by a 12 month leadership journey that delivers practical knowledge, strategic insight, and personal growth.

As the program grows, we’re thrilled to welome back more alumni as guest speakers, sharing their insights in business, innovation, and leadership. Their journeys are proof that GenAngus doesn’t just teach; it transforms.
If you’ve been thinking of applying, or know someone who should, now’s the time. Help someone you know (or help yourself) make 2026 the year everything changes.
