Catch the Angus action at the 2026 Melbourne Royal Show
The Melbourne Royal Show returns from 24 September to 4 October, with some of Australia’s leading beef cattle exhibitors set to take centre stage at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
The Melbourne Royal Beef Cattle Competition runs from Wednesday 30 September to Sunday 4 October, bringing together exhibitors and cattle from across Australia for five days of competition.
Angus will once again feature prominently in the cattle program, with members, exhibitors and supporters encouraged to follow the action either ringside or online.

Across the five-day beef cattle program, spectators can enjoy a packed schedule of events, including:
- Beef cattle breed judging, including Angus
- BioWorma Youth Feature Heifer Show
- Melbourne Royal Calf Classic
- Waterford Charolais Youth Team Challenge
- Small Breeds Interbreed
- Beef Cattle Interbreed
- Melbourne Royal Beef Cattle Hall of Fame presentations

Can’t make it to Melbourne?
Thanks to Stock & Land, cattle judging from the 2026 Melbourne Royal Show will be available to watch via livestream, allowing Angus Australia members and supporters across the country to follow the action from wherever they are.
The livestream will be available through the Stock & Land Melbourne Royal Show hub once coverage begins.
