Great support for the Angus On Ice Sale at Zoetis AngusEXPO
The Angus On Ice Frozen Genetics sale, a key feature of the Zoetis AngusEXPO, delivered impressive results this year. Held as part of the 2025 Neogen World Angus Forum, the auction showcased the very best in frozen genetics, drawing intense interest from both local and international buyers.
Embryos reached a standout high, with the Ben Nevis Embryo Package (Lot 5) commanding a remarkable $6,000 per embryo for a four-embryo package. The overall average for all lots settled at $2,129 per embryo.
Semen lots also attracted significant competition, with the Mawarra Genetics package (Lot 45) topping the sale at $275 per straw for a 10-straw package. The average price across all semen sold reached $126 per straw, highlighting the ongoing investment in proven, high-performance Angus genetics.
