Director Election Update
Nominations for election as a Director of The Angus Society of Australia Ltd closed on Tuesday 31st March 2026.
As only a single nomination was received for each of the State elected Director positions for Tasmania and New South Wales, no ballot is required for these positions.
As three nominations were received for the two vacant National elected Director positions, a ballot will be conducted. All financial Full and Honorary Life Members are eligible to participate in this ballot.
National Director Nominations:
- Sinclair Munro
- Simon Falkiner
- Lex Gandy
As two nominations were received for the State elected Director position for WA, a ballot will also be conducted for this position. All financial Full and Honorary Life Members residing in Western Australia are eligible to participate in this ballot.
WA State Director Nominations:
- Mark Muir
- Lex Gandy
Members eligible to vote in the Directors ballot will be sent electronic ballots on Wednesday 8th April to determine the composition of the Angus Australia Board following the AGM in May. Election statements for each candidate will be included with the ballot.
The electronic ballot is being independently conducted by ElectionBuddy.com and distributed via email and SMS to eligible Member contact details registered with Angus Australia at 5:00pm on Wednesday 8th April. If you do not receive your ballot, please check your junk or spam folder before contacting the office.
Voting will close at 5:00pm on Friday 1st May 2026.
The results of the ballot will be independently scrutinised by the company auditors and posted on the Angus Australia website as soon as possible after the close of the ballot.
Newly elected Directors will commence their term at the conclusion of the AGM in Ballarat on the 26th May 2026.
