The Zoetis World Angus Youth Competition has concluded, showcasing the extraordinary skills, knowledge, and passion of young cattle enthusiasts from around the globe. This highly anticipated event, held as part of the Neogen World Angus Forum, brought together the next generation of Angus industry leaders to compete in a series of rigorous challenges that tested their practical abilities, breed knowledge, and leadership skills. 

12 teams took part from around the globe; Angus Australia Team Spinifex, Angus Australia Team Saltbush, Red Angus Society of Australia Team, Angus New Zealand Team Legacy, Angus New Zealand Team Infinity, Canadian Angus Team Oh Canada, Canadian Angus Team Canada Eh, American Angus Association Team, Czech Republic Team, United Kingdom and Ireland Team, Barbarians Team Southern Cross and Barbarians Team Universal. 

Over the course of the Neogen World Angus Forum and its affiliated events, participants engaged in a range of activities, including cattle judging, parading, debates, head to heads challenges, meat judging, team building activities and more all designed to assess their understanding of Angus cattle breeding and their broader grasp of the beef industry. The competition provided an unparalleled platform for these aspiring young leaders to connect, learn, and push their skills to new heights. 

The impressive performances seen throughout the competition have highlighted the remarkable potential within the youth sector of the Angus community, reinforcing the importance of fostering the next generation of industry leaders. The 2025 World Angus Youth Competition has not only celebrated the outstanding achievements of its participants but has also set the stage for a bright future in the Angus industry.
