Ready to Take Your Passion Global? The 2026 Angus Foundation University of Illinois Scholarship is Now Open
If you’re passionate about Angus cattle, beef production, and the science that drives our industry forward, this is your opportunity to take that passion to the global stage.
Applications are now open for the 2026 Angus Foundation University of Illinois Scholarship, offering $15,000 in support for one exceptional young Australian to pursue further education at the University of Illinois — one of the world’s leading institutions for livestock genetics, production, and animal science.
As part of the scholarship experience, the successful applicant will spend a semester immersed in student life at the University of Illinois — joining the livestock and meat judging teams, attending classes alongside American ag students, and living on campus. From training sessions to competitions, you’ll travel across the United States, gaining hands-on experience and a global perspective on beef production and genetics.
Because a passion for Angus can take you further than you ever imagined.
More than a scholarship, this is a launchpad into the global beef industry, offering first-hand access to international networks, livestock and meat judging with other young cattle enthusiasts and a once-in-a-lifetime learning opportunity. Dozens of Australians have benefitted from this opportunity, many of whom have become industry-leading visionaries across the beef supply chain.
