Director Elections 2026 – Voting Now Open
Following the close of nominations on Tuesday 31 March 2026, the Director election process for Angus Australia is now underway. Voting will commence this afternoon, with electronic ballots issued to eligible members via email and SMS.
As only a single nomination was received for each of the State Elected Director positions for Tasmania and New South Wales, Ed Archer (Tasmania) and Stuart Halliday (New South Wales) have been elected unopposed.
Angus Australia thanks all nominees for their interest in contributing to the governance and future direction of the organisation.
Ballots will be conducted for the following positions:
All financial Full and Honorary Life Members are eligible to vote in the National Director election.
All financial Full and Honorary Life Members residing in Western Australia are eligible to vote in this election.
Electronic ballots have now been distributed to eligible members to determine the composition of the Angus Australia Board following the AGM in May. Candidate election statements are included with the ballot.
The ballot is being independently conducted by ElectionBuddy and has been distributed via email and SMS to eligible member contact details registered with Angus Australia.
If you have not received your ballot, please check your junk or spam folder before contacting the office.
Voting closes: 5:00pm (AEST) Friday 1 May 2026
The results of the ballot will be independently scrutinised by the Company’s auditors and published on the Angus Australia website following the close of voting.
Newly elected Directors will take office at the conclusion of the AGM in Ballarat on Tuesday 26 May 2026.
