Angus Australia, in partnership with Elders, is thrilled to announce the “Angus On Ice” Frozen Genetics Sale, taking place online via Auctions Plus from May 2nd to May 4th, 2025. This highly anticipated event will run alongside the prestigious Neogen World Angus Forum, offering breeders a groundbreaking opportunity to access top-tier frozen genetics in a global marketplace.
Key Features of “Angus On Ice” – Frozen Genetics Sale:
- Exclusive Access for Members: Participation is restricted to members of Angus Australia and the Red Angus Society of Australia (including our members abroad), ensuring a premium showcase of elite genetics.
- Comprehensive Genetic Standards: All entries must meet rigorous genetic verification, including sire verification, genomically enhanced Estimated Breeding Values (EBVs), and genetic condition testing.
- Diverse Lots: Offerings will include frozen embryos and semen, with full transparency regarding location, costs, and export eligibility.
- Professional Promotion: Vendors are encouraged to provide high-quality videos and photos to enhance the sale catalogue, distributed through Angus Australia’s SaleSELECT platform and Auctions Plus.
- Market Expertise: Elders will manage the sale process, including establishing reserves, conducting the auction, and ensuring seamless post-sale transactions.
Entries Now Open
Entries are capped at 175, with one per member and an additional lot permitted for exhibitors of the Zoetis AngusEXPO. Vendors are encouraged to submit entries by March 31, 2025, to meet sale eligibility and promotional deadlines. An entry fee of $500 per lot applies, split between the initial submission and post-sale.
