AGM: Tuesday 26 May 2026

In accordance with the Constitution of the Angus Society of Australia, two (2) Nationally Elected Director positions (currently held by Sinclair Munro and Simon Falkiner), together with State Elected Director positions for Western Australia (currently held by Andrew Kuss), New South Wales (currently held by Erica Halliday) and Tasmania (currently held by Ed Archer) fall due for election in 2026.

Under the Constitution, Directors who have served four consecutive two-year terms are not eligible to stand for re-election until they have ceased to be a Director for at least one full two-year term. Accordingly, the current Directors for New South Wales and Tasmania are not eligible to stand for re-election in 2026.

Full or Honorary Life Members from any state or territory may nominate themselves or another Full or Honorary Life member as a Nationally Elected Director.

Full or Honorary Life Members having their registered address in Tasmania, New South Wales or Western Australia may nominate, or be nominated by another Full or Honorary Life Member in their state, as a State Elected Director.

If required, a ballot among Full and Honorary Life members will be conducted to elect one State Elected Director from each of the above listed states and two Nationally elected Directors. Only Full and Honorary Life members having their registered address in the particular state will be eligible to vote for State Elected Directors. All Full and Honorary Life members, irrespective of their registered address, are eligible to vote for the Nationally Elected Director positions.

Nominations for State Elected Director positions or Nationally Elected Director positions, or both, can be made using the attached Director Nomination Form.

  • Section A: must be completed and signed by both the nominator and the nominee (self-nomination is permitted).
  • Section B: the consent to act as a Director must also be signed by the nominee.
