Calling All Photographers! – 2025 Neogen World Angus Forum – Photography Competition
The 2025 Neogen World Angus Forum is excited to announce our official Photography Competition offering an opportunity to showcase your best shots and be part of this global event. We are inviting all members to submit their most striking images that represent the spirit, passion, and diversity of the Angus breed and the livestock industry.
Competition Theme:
“Beef for a Better Planet: Celebrating the Breed, the Industry, and the People”
We are looking for images that capture the essence of the Angus breed, whether on the farm, in the show ring, at the cattle yards or during the daily life of the Angus community. The competition is open to a wide range of subjects, including:
- Angus cattle in their natural environment
- Agricultural landscapes and farming life
- Industry professionals in action
- Close-ups showcasing the unique characteristics of Angus cattle
- Dynamic moments from past Angus events or shows
Prizes:
- 1st Prize: 1 Neogen World Angus Forum Ticket in Brisbane + Social Functions + Your Photo Featured in the 2025 Neogen World Angus Forum Program, Website and Event App
- 2nd Prize: $500
- 3rd Prize: $250
All winners will receive official recognition during the 2025 Neogen World Angus Forum, and their images will be displayed in a dedicated exhibition area during the event. Winning photographs will also be showcased across the Neogen World Angus Forum’s social media platforms and website.
How to Enter:
- Submit Your Photo(s): Please email your high-resolution image(s) to worldangusforum@angusaustralia.com.au with the subject line: 2025 Neogen World Angus Forum Photography Competition Entry.
- Include the Following Information:
– Your name and contact details
– A brief description of the photo(s), including location and context
– Image(s) must be high-quality (minimum 300 dpi) and in .jpeg or .png format - Deadline for Entries: All entries must be received by 31st March 2025. Late submissions will not be considered.
- Judging Criteria: Entries will be judged based on creativity, technical quality, composition and how well they reflect the theme of the competition.
Terms and Conditions:
- By entering the competition you grant Angus Australia the rights to use your submitted images in marketing, promotional and event-related materials (with full credit to the photographer).
- All photos will be displayed at the 2025 Neogen World Angus Forum
- There is no entry fee.
- Multiple entries are welcome; however each entry must be submitted separately.
- Photos must be original works created by the entrant.
- The judges’ decision is final.
