Applications are now open for the 2026 Angus Foundation Kansas State University Scholarship, offering one driven Angus Australia member the opportunity of a lifetime — a fully funded semester immersed in the U.S. beef industry and academic life at Kansas State University.

Valued at $15,000, the scholarship supports travel and tuition costs for a semester abroad (Jan–May 2026) in Manhattan, Kansas, at one of America’s leading agricultural institutions. Whether it’s sitting in class with American ag students, joining university livestock herds, or attending industry events across the country, this is your chance to take your Angus journey global.

As a visiting scholar, you’ll attend K-State classes aligned with your academic interests — whether in animal science, genetics, beef production, or even global food systems leadership or ag economics. You’ll attend labs, work with university livestock herds, and help with events like the annual K-State Angus Bull Sale.

Outside the classroom, the experience is just as rich. You’ll travel throughout Kansas and beyond — visiting commercial and seedstock operations, attending events like K-State’s Cattlemen’s Day, national livestock shows, and the National Cattle Industry Convention. You’ll also visit the American Angus Association headquarters in Missouri and may even spend time assisting on U.S. ranches.

This scholarship is for Angus Australia members aged 18-27 who are serious about a future in the beef industry. If you’re passionate about genetics, livestock production, and gaining a global perspective — this is your opportunity.
