Angus success in Southern Grassfed Carcase Classic
First time entrants, Granite Ridge Angus, Avenue Range, were awarded Grand Champion carcase with a purebred Angus steer in the Southern Grassfed Carcase Classic, Australia’s largest annual carcase competition, on 94.44 points.
GenAngus – Only the beginning!
The GenAngus Future Leaders program wrapped up in Adelaide at the end of last week with twenty-eight young beef industry leaders from the 2020, 2021 and 2022 cohorts coming together and to say that the future of Angus and the beef industry looks bright is probably an understatement.

GenAngus off to a flying start
After a two year wait the GenAngus Future Leaders Program has returned to a face-to-face event with almost 30 young beef industry leaders from across Australia converging in Adelaide for the 2022 GenAngus program.
Overdue Membership Subscriptions 2022
The “grace period” for payment of 2022 Membership Subscription, and where applicable the Animal Registration Service Fee and Genetic Evaluation Service Fee, will end on the 30th June 2022.

Angus Australia is excited to advise that Generation 2 of the Angus HeiferSELECT product has been implemented for use by commercial Angus breeders wishing to utilise genomics to help inform the selection of Angus replacement females.
