Niemann-Pick Type C Disease
Angus Australia would like to make Angus breeders aware that researchers at the University of Sydney, in association with the Elizabeth Macarthur Agricultural Institute (EMAI), recently published a paper identifying the identification of a genetic condition in Angus and Angus cross cattle known as Niemann-Pick Type C disease.

The late Andrew Gubbins recognised in the 2021 Australia Day Awards
The 2021 Australia Day Awards included the recognition of the late Mr Andrew Sladen Gubbins with a Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the beef cattle industry.
Angus Australia Office Closure – Australia Day
Members are reminded that the Angus Australia office will be closed on Tuesday January 26th for the Australia Day public holiday.
The office will reopen 8.30am on Wednesday January 27th.

Angus Australia was saddened to hear of the recent passing of well-known member, Mr Andrew Anderson, Rossander Angus, Warrnambool.
The Board and staff extend their deepest sympathy to his wife Alison Anderson and family.
